Lucas Ingram is a freelance Art Director based in NYC, who works as a theatrical designer in his spare time. He has worked on projects such as The LI and LII Super Bowl Halftime Shows; CMA Country Christmas 2016 + 2017; The 2016 ABC Oscars After Party; 69th – 71st Annual Tony Awards, the 2016 Democratic National Convention; The MTV VMAs in 2016; and Good Morning America. He also is an Event Designer for Pandora for their various artist spotlight sessions.
Lucas has worked in 3 Emmy Nominated Art Departments, and has won 1 Primetime Emmy for his work on Good Morning America’s Halloween Special 2016.
He holds a MFA from University of Iowa in Theatre Arts with a concentration in Lighting, Scenic, and Projection Design; and a BA from Lehigh University in Theatre.
His work at UIowa included The Lady from the Sea; Iphigenia Crash Land Falls on the Neon Shell that was Once Her Heart (a rave fable); Good Kids; The Remedy: A MOVEment moveMENT; No Armistice; Swordplay; Quiet, Witches; The Playwright; and Pvt. Wars. His work at Lehigh University included The Laramie Project as Lighting Designer, and Oleanna as Scenic Designer.
